Despite the Camry hate here I have to report that I really like mine. It’s roomy and comfortable and inexpensive to operate and reliable. Two of my big complaints is on my SE 4 cylinder is that the TPMS shows you the individual tire pressures but not the location of the tire. My other complaint is that when I have a tire with low pressure the car asks me to confirm the low tire pressure.

What happens if I confirm? Or if I don’t?

I think higher trims might actually show the location of the tire because I remember seeing something in the owners manual of a different display. Of course I might be crazy.

If you don’t know the location of your tire you probably have bigger problems than low pressure.

Can confirm (heh) that the XV50 doesn’t ask you to confirm, but displays which tire is which.

A Camry with the V6 is a serious sleeper.

Yes, but you can actually sleep on a Bus Pass GT.

I can sorta see the logic. What if TPMS sensor is bad and it’s reporting wrong information. It wants you to go outside... in the elements. Barefoot. Uphill. Both ways. and check on your tires... like a barbarian.

Good luck.

I’d like it if the Gen 4 Prius told you anything other than, something is low.

The thing knows which tire is which, but there’s no way to get that info without plugging in a Techstream.

My car has a TPMS button that does nothing. Light comes on, check tires which are all fine. Get back in car. Push button, nothing. Hold button for 30 seconds as recommended in manual, nothing. Try various combinations of holding the button and fiddling with the ignition as recommended by the forums, nothing. Give up on the damn thing and drive off. 20 miles later it turns itself off. ¯\_()_/¯

No I think you are correct. I have heard that elsewhere.
